Short Bio
Mr Thomas Boucourt is a Lecturer Practical Arts, who brings his savoir-faire in restaurant and hotel management to students in the Preparatory Year of the Bachelor’s degree. Thomas started his career in catering while studying for his hospitality/hotel diploma in France. He worked for famous caterers such as Lenôtre, Potel et Chabot, and Raynier Marchetti. He took positions in Europe and Australia, and he came to Switzerland as a restaurant manager in a hotel before managing a mountain hotel-restaurant in the ski resort of Les Portes du Soleil.
He joined EHL in 2011 and became a Lecturer in 2013 and passed a 3-year-Federal Diploma on vocational teaching. He elaborated the banqueting workshop curriculum and became a Senior Lecturer in 2017. He also has the responsibility of the teaching coordination to the service team.
