Short Bio
Guy Beroud is a lawyer specialised in international bankruptcy and corporate restructuring (LL.M Humbold Universität). He first worked in the administration of the first Swiss banking bankruptcy before starting a PhD on the subject of social plans within corporate groups.
During his PhD at the University of Lausanne, he had the pleasure of teaching legal methodology in the Bachelor's programme, as well as leading the Business Law Seminar for students in the Master's programme in Law and Economics. Advocating a transversal approach, he integrates economic consequences into his teaching and research in law.
In 2020, he moved from theory to practice by putting his legal expertise in business creation and governance to good use in a project that is close to his heart in the sustainable food sector: Kooko. As director of this young strat-up, he is experiencing with passion the reality of entrepreneurship.
Teaching the legal challenges of management at EHL since February 2022, he accompanies students so that the law becomes a tool for success and not an obstacle to their businesses. For him, EHL is the ideal link between his teaching vocation and his investment in sustainable catering. As a confirmed amateur chef, he is keen to learn more and discover the tricks of the trade of the chefs of our fine institution.
