Short Bio

Mr Clément Julien is Lecturer Practical Arts at the EHL. He began his career as a sommelier at the Evian Resort within the Hôtel Royal, then gradually climbed the ladder and took over the sommellerie department at the Hôtel Ermitage within the same group. Clément then decided to pursue his career internationally, notably in Canada as Maître d'hôtel, then in New Zealand, as a bar manager - always in luxury hotels.

Clément arrived in Switzerland in 2011, where he took over the management of the cellar of the Grand Hôtel du Lac. Afterwards, he continues to evolve and manages the events department within the same hotel. Before starting at EHL, he took up one last challenge by participating in the reopening of the banqueting center of the Royal Savoy Hotel, after 5 years of renovation. Clément has always liked to pass on and share his experience, so it was only natural for him to seize the opportunity to come and teach at EHL in 2016. He is promoted to Lecturer in Practical Arts in 2019.
