Augusto Hasman besitzt einen Doktortitel und ist außerordentlicher Professor für Finanzen an der Ecole hôteliere de Lausanne (EHL). Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei EHL war er Executive Director des BCC-Programms (Bilateral Assistance and Capacity Building) für Zentralbanken am Graduate Institute in Genf.


Dr. Hasman war für die Entwicklung und Überwachung von länderspezifischen Capacity-Building-Programmen für Zentralbanken in acht Entwicklungsländern (Albanien, Aserbaidschan, Bosnien und Herzegowina, Kolumbien, Ghana, Peru, Tunesien und Vietnam) zu verschiedenen Themen wie Formulierung und Umsetzung der Geldpolitik, Bankenaufsicht und -regulierung, Finanzmarktentwicklung und operatives Risikomanagement verantwortlich.

Zuvor arbeitete Dr. Hasman als außerordentlicher Professor für Wirtschaft und Finanzen an der SKEMA Business School (Nizza, Sophia Antipolis, Frankreich) und als Ökonom am OFCE (Observatoire Français des Conjonctures Economiques de Sciences-Po, Paris). Er hat mehrere Publikationen zum Thema Finanzstabilität und Risikomanagement veröffentlicht.
