Short Bio

While studying engineering, Mr Doerr worked in restaurant where he caught "the Virus" for hospitality. He decided then to pursue his career in that field. While developping his working skills in Paris, had the chance to join "Hotel de Matignon" at the service of The Prime Minister for his National duty.


Eric Doerr then left to the States (Virginia and Massachussetts) but it is in the UK that hi spent most of his carrer, specially managing "The Fat Duck" (***Michelin, 50Best Restaurant of the year 2005, Restaurant Manager of the year 2007).


After a short period in France, managing "Le Clos des Sens" (***Michelin), he joined EHL in 2013 as BDS Coordinator. Wishing to further develop his teaching skills, Mr Doerr studied in Geneva for the Federal Diploma of Adult Educator (2021). This diploma has allowed him to join Academia as Practical Art Lecturer in 2022.
